Variants are encountered with nun “month” suffixed to ooza' or in place of it, e.g. Gesul Ooza'nun “August”.

These are the month names currently in use. In older materials, such as gravestones and the newspaper Dustl'us Nawhulnuk, the months are numbered rather than named, e.g. Bulh Tat Sanun “third month” for March. In such dates the ordinal number is often made with bulh rather than whulh in spite of the fact that months, as periods of time, are areal.
