Snowshoes
Snowshoes are called 'aih. Bearpaw snowshoes are kelabas or shas̲ke. Snowshoes with the forepart rounded and curved up are called 'aihza'.
The harness is called ch'a'al. The cross-bar of the frame is called 'ut̲s̲'a. The fine babiche used in snowshoes is called 'asghulh. The tail is called ketl'agus.
There are special verbs put on (st:snowshoes), take off (st:snowshoes), and wear (st:snowshoes).
Creating the frame is described by bend (st:snowshoe frame). Putting the webbing on is described by string (st:snowshoes).
